CRG Welcomes a New Affiliate Group!

The Missouri Library Association Technical Services Special Interest Group applied to CRG for affiliation with ALCTS earlier this year. Happily, through the good work of the CRG Affiliate Relations Committee, the Missouri TSSIG, and the ALCTS Organization and Bylaws Committee, the application was reviewed and approved by the ALCTS Board in October 2008. A hearty welcome to our newest affiliate!

Susan Mueller Elected 2008/09 CRG Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect

Susan Mueller, Head of Technical Services at the University of Idaho Library and CRG's Representative to the ALCTS Program Committee, won the election for CRG Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect in April. Susan has a long and active association with CRG, which includes recent service for several years as CRG Secretary. Congratulations and best wishes to Susan!

Lihong Zhu, Head of Bibliographic Control at the Holland Library of Washington State University Libraries, who ran for the top CRG post along with Susan, is Chair of the CRG Speakers' Bureau Committee. In addition to serving for several years on the Speakers' Bureau, Lihong also gained CRG experience through service on the CRG Affiliate Relations Committee. Our thanks go to Lihong for her candidacy, as well as our hope that she will consider running again in the future!
